Why use Nairajobs?

Nairajobs is a Nigerian job and career search engine that aggregates  jobs for Nigerians be it overseas or in Nigeria. This jobs are gathered from various sources across the internet. This is  an initiative to create a one stop station for all jobs that is related to Nigeria for Nigerians and friends of Nigeria.

The concept used by Nairajobs is called Vertical Job Listing and it is not new. Vertical Job Listings was born when it became extremely inconvenient for job-seekers to visit every single recruitment portal, company website, forums, and read every classifieds etc in their locality when seeking for a job. This concept is an attempt to help save time and ease the job search process.

Nairajobs not only solves that but wants to co-exist with other job portals that is currently listing jobs it intends to aggregate. What we do at Nairajobs is we link to websites that list to jobs, because we believe that the traffic belongs to them. We do not steal content from portals that list them, but rather provide an aggregated summary with a link to the original source for the details.

Nairajobs aggregates job postings from job boards, corporation websites, online classifieds and newspapers every day through your contribution and through our own manual entry.

So why should a job seeker use Nairajobs?

Nairajobs makes it extremely easy for you to search for jobs by entering a variety of keywords (job title, company name, industry, etc) by state or by city or just browse for jobs using relative already created user friendly links.

Nairajobs would then return results for the given parameters  with a URL from any given description to see the website page containing the job listing. Nairajobs also allows job seekers to create an account that allows them the additional capabilities of saving searches, browsing through saved jobs, creating email alerts and even sharing and forwarding job results to virtually anybody via email.

We currently award a virtual amount of 5 Naira for every job link that is contributed to us through our website.  This virtual amount can be used to redeem certain products such as phone recharge cards, and in the feature we are looking towards actually introducing more products.
We are currently working on introducing SMS job alerts that could also be used to receive job alerts together with a copy to your email box.
Nairajobs is the first of its kind in Nigeria that would not be a recruitment portal but rather an aggregator that would allow the ability to search for of all jobs that would interest Nigerians.
